Ex. 1. Put the right form of the verb 'to be' in the blanks and try to translate the sentences below:

  •       Вие не ........ от тук.
  •       Те ..... от Рим в Италия.
  •       Ти ...... много интелигентен.
  •       То.......лошо куче.
  •       Ние.........учители в Англия.
  •       Той не ..... добър лекар.
  •       Мери ..... много стриктна учителка.
  •       Пицата не ........ много хубава.
  •       Ник и аз ......... от Германия.
  •       Питър и ти........ добра компания.


Ex. 2. Try to translate the following into Bulgarian:

1.        I am from England.
2.        She is my daughter.   (my daughter – дъщеря ми)     
3.        The house is very nice.
4.        You are not teachers.
5.        He is a professor in a university.
6.        You are not my brother.                                                        
7.        You are teachers in England.                                                
8.        They are from Durham.
9.        They are not doctors.
10.      He is my brother.  
11.      We are in St Vlas at the moment.  (at the moment – в момента)
12.      I am not from Spain.
